
Öykü Özcan graduated from Ankara Medipol University, Department of Psychology in 2024. She completed her master’s degree in Family Counseling at Ege University and continues her professional work in this field.
Throughout her academic journey, she focused on child and family counseling, participating in various academic and applied studies to support her professional development. She actively contributed to student organizations in psychology and took part in organizing scientific events.
She gained field experience in various counseling centers and adopts a holistic approach in addressing children’s developmental needs and family processes.
She received training from Dr. Selin Atasoy in working with children on the autism spectrum, including PEP-R applications, Hanen interaction-based communication programs, Theory of Mind assessment and intervention programs, and developmental observation.
She continues her work under the supervision of Dr. Selin Atasoy, focusing on development-oriented practices with children, adolescents, and families.
